Just a rumor to try to to stir things up over here... personally, I think I would stop talking/speculating on it, that's what his goal is. FUD.

Thats true. Might be better for the Mods to delete all posts here relating to it.

These guys just can take it. Remember a few months ago when LEE STEWART posted a rumour here as a joke.

Just ignore them.

lee stewart doesn't know sh1t. mgm is owned by fox and sony, no way in hell mgm movies will see the light of day on hd dvd. stupid fanboys making up rumors, thinking that their rumors should be equal to ours because rdjam and lee stewart said so vs. warner execs, lionsgate execs (another reason lionsgate won't either), p-man, maxpower (both are true insiders), and of course their very own rob enderle.

They are scared and are trying to keep people from bailing on HD DVD. Won't be Disney, not a chance. Fox, they like the copy protection. Sony, give me a break. And as for MGM, Sony and Fox control the releasing of their movies, so I am guessing they are trying to start a rumor of their own. Or, maybe they have it all backwards, some HD DVD exclusive is going neutral. Weinstein anyone?

Its New Line Cinema they are referring to.

Get it?

Right now they are technically bluray exclusive.

There is one under the Videos Tab..

Some kind of promotion code via the PSN would be a very good to way to step it up though.

and

Yeah if that is the rumor it's total BS. Just trying to create a false talking point for the red ants...

I had the same thought. Maybe New Line will also release day and date on HD DVD and they're making a huge fuss about it haha.

MGM/Sony still have at least one Bond co-production coming up in 2008!
So, no chance in hell, if there ever was! LOL!

For the sake of being informed , I would advise against that until we have at least a denial of some sort that will come quite soon I am sure.
(I mean just to be devil's advocate we get all excited over a rumor and then want to censor another rumor without anyone at least calling BS on it?)

HDnow are DUD shills. They've claimed inside knowledge at least once before by saying Disney was going neutral at CES 07. HDnow don't know shite all.

MGM is owned by Sony. It doesn't even makes sense how they could even come up with the idea that they would go neutral.

HDnow is about as reliable as Rob Enderle. We all know how right he was when he predicted Apple would crash and burn and the iPod would be a huge flop...oh wait a minute, it didn't!?
