I cannot believe Polanski's horror classic has not released on Blu-ray yet!!

The reason you can't start new threads is because you're a new member. You have to be more active in the forum before you can start a new thread. Plus, if you use the search bar, I guarantee you'll find the thread you're looking for.

You make more work for the mods by posting irrelevant comments in random threads, and that's exactly what you're doing.

I'm guessing February. Don't worry it should be right around when it's released in France/Germany, only I don't know why they haven't announce it yet it's being released by Warner also in UK.

In my small european country AI was released last week on blu-ray. I love the film so much and I really waited for this title. The picture is reference quality for those who like filmlike transfers with grain. It is amazing and really do justice to Kaminski's exepctional photography.

True. I happen to prrefer Stanleys steady-cam, hold the scene for more than a second style over the wacky filming that you get today.

As for this film - I think its decent but missed greatness unfortunately because Stanley didnt get to finish it. Steven "softened it up" ffor general audiences, IMO. Im glad its coming to blu-ray but its a rental for me.

It wasn't really her child though, it was just a robot that was built to take the place of her own son at the time. Yes the movie touches me too but not as much as it would have if HJO had been human and not machine.

Haven't seen this movie in so damn long, I'll have to rent it before pulling the trigger. I remember enjoying it, but just to be sure.

The only movie that has ever made me cry is An American Crime (with Ellen Page, Catherine Keener, and James Franco).

however i am not a fan of Haley Joel Osmont (or whatever it is) and i'm not a huge Jude Law fan, so that may push this rental back farther than i anticipated lol. are Law ad Osmont major characters in the film, or just on the DVD cover art because they're big names?

but i'm sure it'll look fantastic

Osment is the lead character while Law is more of a sidekick.
