Recent WB purchases. - Blu-ray Forum

Okay in an effort to help the BD cause I have been buying plenty of WB titles on BD but I have to say that WB is really taking the piss with their audio. Of the most recent BOGO sale from amazon i picked up six titles varying from Superman to Million Dollar Baby and not one of them has a HD audio track. The description on the box says English 5.1 so I don't even know if it has DTS or DD. What in Gods name is happening with WB?

Their earlier releases don't have the lossless audio. Their latest print of Superman Returns has an HD audio track, but you have to check the box to find out if it's the one that has it.

Their recent releases have a lot of PCM (Harry Potter, The Shining...) but that's pretty recent.

Surely titles like Syriana and Millon Dollar Baby should have HD audio. I am aware of the HP series having PCM 5.1 which is great but of the 50+ WB titles i own i have to say they have been easily the worst studio for audio.
