Default EGM Declares Blu-ray victory!

I just got my new EGM in the mail today. Feburary edition. Had a really nice article about the format wars and in the end blu-ray will win in a landslide! It also touched on the Xbox HD Add on and said you get what you pay for and at $200 bucks the quality is poor compared to the PS3's blu-ray. Said the PS3 is just as good as the stand alones.

LOL, someone beat me to it.

I got that issue today as well, and frankly, I was expecting another MS wax and payoff job but was very pleasantly surprised to see a well written and fairly objective article that was devoid of the spin and talking points that we can see from either side of this thing.

They didn't do cartwheels or anything, but yes, IMO, it was unmistakeable that they were leaning in favor of Blu and that the HD-DVD add on for the Xbox360, to them, was junk.

Why is this important?

Because this is one of the most mainstream console gamer's magazines out there. This gives you a pretty good idea of what a lot of them are thinking, or will be and their circulation is huge.

Totally agree. I think this article will go a lot further than the Times magazine article did in terms of hitting the core audience. Sure, a lot of people read Time magazine, but it's a completely different demographic. EGM is big and has been around for as long as I can remember!

The core gamer reads Electronic Gaming Monthly because EGM is the authority on video gaming. The heart and soul of the modern gaming magazine is the review, and EGM's are legendary. They are the most respected and credible in the industry that's why EGM has the biggest circulation of any multi-platform video game mag. But it's not the only reason. EGM understands the motivation of the gamer and his viewpoint and creates a magazine that speaks to the lifestyle. Yowsers.

This article is about the relative merits of the PS/3 and the XBox + add-on as an HD disc player?

What was their belief on the use as such? How about the interest of its readership for movies?

Having been on forums that dealt with copyrighted works. A short 100 word clipping of any copyrighted article is allowed. As long as it's not posted in full it can be posted for review and discussion. Usually there's some flexibility i the amount printed.

I'd just be speculating.

Scan it and OCR if possible. Remove all possible copyrighted content.

Thanks. Hope this may help somebody who is going do this.
Also, it is going be helpful for me when I plan to scan something into this forum.

I think wrong way on copyright on my first statement. Because I was stated about film copyright instead of atricle copyright.

BTW, using copyright atricle on forum, you also need a link to it to show where you get source from. Or it is not required? hmm...
