I can't comment on any Eagles content on BR, but I can attest that the JVC XRCD of "Hell Freezes Over" sounds simply amazing. One of the best sounding live discs I own on any format. I have the Dire Straits "Brothers In Arms" XRCD as well, but that gave way to the SACD import.

I bought the HD-DVD version of this concert and recently was able to convert it to blu-ray. If anyone owns this on HD-DVD or DVD and would be interested in a copy on blu-ray, I can mail you a copy. Feel free to contact me.

I hope they do a good job on the transfer. The HD-DVD version sounds excellent.

Even the DVD sounded and looked good. Fingers crossed as this is a Day One buy for me (something I rarely do).

Not sure why I'm that excited as I already have the HD DVD and the unofficial Australian release, but I guess it's just the fact this is finally coming out on blu-ray.
