Default XBR4 firmware

I heard a rumor that there is going to be a firmware update for the xbr4 the second week of February. Supposedly its supposed to help the clouding issue and i think some other issues but im not sure what they are. Can anyone confirm this or have also heard about this?

With a usb thumb drive. I have a 40" xbr1 that I got two years ago and they released a firmware update to fix an issue that might prevent the tv from turning off w/o unplugging from the wall. They sent me the flash drive in the mail and all I had to do was go the usb input and plug it in, the tv recognized it, performed the update and reset itself.
