LOL... I think you mean to purchase an OPTICAL cable instead of FIBRE OPTIC cable. Try these out instead.

Probably what he was talking about. You do know that the OPTICAL cable is still fiber, right?

Of course I do... but the original cable that he had listed there would have showed up and he wouldn't have known how the hell to connect it. It may be the same technology, but the engineering of how each is implemented are two completely different scenarios.

P.S. Is it really fiber? So I should add a small portion of "fiber optic" cable to my daily dietary intake?

Yeah, I usually have a one or two fiber optics to pass me thru to dinner time, low in carbs and no trans fat.
