Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas Blu-ray DVD case

By far my favorite animated Christmas movie is finally coming to Blu-Ray.
In an insert that came with the Tangled BD i got today Disney says Beauty and The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas will be coming back to DVD and Blu-ray for the first time

Is Magical World going to get a Combo too?

We just got it from the library and my Belle fan can't get enough of it. She loves it.

Holy crap! I never expected this to come to Blu-ray! Here's hoping it gets a proper video transfer. The audio should sound great, it always was a great demo disc for low end with the pipe organ... and it'll be interesting to find out the aspect ratio on this one. Supposedly it was animated at 1.66:1 but hasn't been seen at anything other than 1.33:1.

I hope both titles get BR releases but they probably won't. I guess I can't complain though, glad to get Enchanted Christmas at least!

Both will be on BD. Just like the Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 and the September combo release of both Fox and The Hound

I didn't know these were animated at 1.66:1. that's very interesting.
i wonder what the ratio will be on this BD. and if we get a 1.33:1 will Disney provide the beautiful side bar designs? I hope so.

It was mentioned only as a DVD in the Bambi trailers, so I doubt it.

It's about time!
But is it too late for me?

My girls were into Disney Princesses 2-3 years ago but have passed that phase now. They still don't mind watching some of the movies but they do not show much interest in them anymore.

Stupid Disney vault closed on the X-mas special years ago and I was never able to get a copy. Note to future parents out there, buy the vault movies as you never know.

I got suckered on Ebay twice with the X-mas special. Twice I was told they were brand new and sealed only to realize they were scams and didn't have French audio tracks (primary tongue of my kids) and had them all in Mandarin.

Well, we're heading to Disney this year so I'm sure my little girls will be interested in these. It does look like it's a combo with both. If Disney does that, then kudos for them to including 2 movies for the price of one and hopefully a $10 coupon.

With the blu-ray combo pack bubble where it is, does that mean only Enchanted Christmas is coming to blu-ray(why 1 and not the other?) or does it mean that both movies will be coming in single combo pack ala Fantasia?

I will probably pick this up I liked Beauty and the Beast and I am a sucker for any Christmas themed(Halloween as well) shows or movies.
