Default BluRay Newbie confused about what to get...

Ok, so, yes, I'm a newbie when it comes to all things BluRay.
I am going to be moving very shortly.
I will need a Complete Home Theater Set-Up
I need the following:
BluRay player WITH 7.1 surround capability (Don't want 3D) (Wifi doesn't matter) under $200
7.1 Surround compatible with a BluRay Player and 1080p LCD TV $cheapest
LCD TV (hates Plasma) with 7.1 Capability. $cheapest

Well, there's a lot of options out there. If it was my choice, I'd go with a standalone Sony blu-ray player, an Onkyo 7.1 receiver with seperate speakers/subwoofer, and a Sony LED HDTV.

As said before, there are a ton of options out there. From what I have heard, the best stand alone BD brand players out there that are "wallet friendly" are Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung BD players. In TVs, u have the same brands as leaders, as well as LG. The price of the tv depends on the size, although some higher sized tvs can be on sale. A stand alone receiver is also good, one that can do either 7.1 or 7.2 (.2 means 2 subs instead of one). Onkyo, Yamaha, and Denon are great brands for receivers. As for speakers, Polk, Klipsich, and a few others are great as well. When getting HDMI cables, don't get MonsterCable, go here: http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp They are amazing quality for a really cheap price. They also sell many other things, like speaker wire, wall plates, anything for your home theater needs. I hope this helps!!!

Monster are over-rated, their cables are not better than anyone else's...
Not sure if i need 2 subs...
Thank you for the info...
