As said before, there are a ton of options out there. From what I have heard, the best stand alone BD brand players out there that are "wallet friendly" are Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung BD players. In TVs, u have the same brands as leaders, as well as LG. The price of the tv depends on the size, although some higher sized tvs can be on sale. A stand alone receiver is also good, one that can do either 7.1 or 7.2 (.2 means 2 subs instead of one). Onkyo, Yamaha, and Denon are great brands for receivers. As for speakers, Polk, Klipsich, and a few others are great as well.
