Default What Foreign Film Would You Like to See Blu up?

Hmmm, maybe I should narrow it down to relatively recent movies, say 1960s+ - I could easily shout off a few Federico Fellini movies, but then that would be too much.

In recent memory, I would love to see Das Boot from Germany, Tae Guk Gi from Korea, Indigenes from France, and Alatriste from Spain.

Ditto that.

Honestly, I'd love to see just about anything that's foreign and has culture and story.

I really enjoyed Black Book and The Lives of Others along with Curse of the Golden Flower.

I would love to see Seven Samurai by Kurosawa. I'm not really sure how much effect Blu Ray has on black and white films but it's one of the best of all time so it has my vote.

Brotherhood of the Wolf eh? I remember my buddy dragged me to that one and I had my hopes up at the start but then I couldn't keep my eyes open. I'm sure it would look great but from what I can remember it was a pretty laughable movie.

Your opinion of this move being laughable comes from sleeping through the film? Now thats on critique to value.

I think the fact that I slept through it is the critique actually. Anyway, I may have just been tired that night who knows. If it comes out on BD I will rent it after a good nights sleep.

Good bye Lenin! (Germany 2004)
Muoi (South Korea/Vietnam horror film 2007)

Even though both these titles are quite mainstream, I highly doubt a BD release before the decade is over.

+2 on Amelie, it would look so beautiful on blu-ray.

Other ones that I would love on blu-ray:

Wasabi
A Very Long Engagement
A Beautiful Life
Angel-A
...many more, but those are the main ones I can think of.
