Exchange at Best Buy without a receipt? - Blu-ray Forum

Hello everyone! I received a few Blu-Ray movies for Christmas and it did not come with a gift receipt. I asked the person if he still had the receipts but he didn't. But he told me he bought them at Best Buy.

So I was wondering if it's possible to exchange them at Best Buy for other movies or a gift card or something? I only have 3 blu-ray movies I would like ot exchange.

P.S.: Is Troy good? I've never seen it. So I am unsure about my recent purchase (Amazon BOGO free sale).

It depends on who you talk to. Sometimes they will give you store credit, let you exchange them right then, or tell you to piss off...

If there still sealed it should be no problem to exchange them.

Its been posted on here before.You are allowed to return it for strore credit.
Look for the thread using the serch function.

Tell them to give you his RZ# then bring it with you for exchange/return.

really, store credit? i've gotten the F off thing before. they even tried to give me $0.00 back when i tried to return a movie i bought for a b1g1. i just wanted to exchange it for another b1g1 title. but the girl just scanned it and said. "thank you"

I have never had a problem there or also Circuit City. I find CC has always been the easiest though. Oh, and yes, Troy is a great movie. Welcome to the forum and Blu.

Sweet! Do you happen to know how many they allow to be exchanged? I only have 3 I would like to exchange.

I would like to exchange them for a video game like Assasin's Creed or Heavenly Sword. But if it's not possible, I'll just get War and something else.

They give you the lowest advertised price though, in case it was bought during a sale...

You can try and see what happens. I exchange one on the 26th of Dec and all they need was my driver license and they gave me a store credit.

BTW....Assasin's Creed is back to regular price not on sale anymore.This week is Ressistance Fall of Man is 39.99.
