Funny thing...

The advertised Up/Monsters, Inc. bundle discount didn't show up on my Best Buy cashier's register at all. I reminded her, and she did a little thingy that caused a full-screen reminder of the deal to show up on her computer. Then, with the "Monsters, Inc." DVD-upgrade $8.00 off coupon, she didn't scan or code it in, but just manually applied the $8.00 discount and threw my full-sheet printed coupon in the trash without a second thought! My coupon is still valid (suppose I could print off another one with my DVD UPC #), and that store will not get a reimbursement from Disney.

People, be careful and make sure you watch and listen to what's going on before you swipe your credit or bank card (it's easy to be complacent when it's not cash out of your pocket).

Yeah, I've learned to *not* swipe my card until I've handed over my coupons, loyalty card, etc. Doesn't matter if it's at Best Buy or the grocery store. When they say "You can swipe your card at any time" it's too easy for them to hit total and process your card without seeing the discounts you've pulled out. And I'm not one to walk right from the checkout line to the customer service line for a refund on the difference (especially while your ice cream melts!).

How about asking BB if they can teach you a lesson on how to post in the correct forums?

With tax, if you use the $10 off bundle (should have been automatic), the $10 off Up & the $8 off Monsters, Inc, the total comes to roughly $25 at Best Buy. Some people went to Target, PM'd Best Buy and used an additional $10 Target Coupon to get the price down to under $15, but I think the Target one is YMMV.
