Put my Xbox 360 HD DVD drive on Ebay last night and someone bit for $145.

I was purple for a little over two months but am now pure blu going forward.

Now you just gotta show the Blu some love by taking the money from the add-on and putting it towards BOGO titles on Amazon!

Sell Victoriously!

Although I must admit I had been tempted by the add-on, until I see how bad of a player it actually is.

Someone bid that much for a used one!?!? Jeez, you'd think they were hard to find or something. Those things are so crappy that soon you'll be able to go to Mexico and the kids will be selling Chiclets and HD DVD add-ons.

It also included Transformers which I got to admit looked really good. I figure it will be out on Blu by next year when HD DVD finally goes under.

The kicker is what do I do with the 5 HD DVD discs coming from the rebate? Exchange at a store and claim I got them as gifts but have Blu-ray? Ebay is safest bet. Although return 5 red for 5 blu helps the overall numbers

Ack, you passed it on to someone else? At least you can use that money to buy more Blu-rays, but now I feel sorry for the poor soul that bought your HD-DVD drive.

So, what made you decide to finally turn to the Blu side?

Good choice.

What made you decide to un-purple yourself?

Betting some major news at CES will finally put a blow to HD DVD. I figured lets get rid of it now while it is worth something. I was shocked I got the $145 so bonus for me

Ordered two more blu titles tonight on top of HP 1-4 yesterday.
