Exclamation Onkyo POS

Has anyone else had problems with their Onkyo...

I bought new an Onkyo SR875 before xmas ...

firstly it wouldnt setup as a 5.1 system and kept erroring on speaker setup ... so I bought 2 extra speakers, which solved the problem and is now 7.1..

Then Today I switched it on and the display has gone off on the unit ... but the unit still worked as in the on screen menu worked ...

I read the distructions and it says do a factory reset before contacting support...

Now nothing works...

I bought from uk and Onkyo dont have their own support here ...

Ive left a message with the co I bought from ... I left them nothing short ... this cost me £999 and has only been used 8 times ...
My last amp the sony dream system cost £1500 and still works fine never had one problem ...

Its going to cost me postage there and back ...

I was planning a movie w'kend and no doupt will have to wait weeks to resolve this

Thinking of trying for a refund if others have had probs ???

Sounds like a LEMON

I've heard that those are excellent receivers and I've never had any problems with an Onkyo receiver. Sorry.
