HDMI = DVI + ability to transmit audio streams.

So the only difference between DVI and HDMI is that HDMI has the added ability to transmit any kind of audio stream from compressed DD and DTS to fully uncompressed 7.1 PCM.

Yea, I knew that DVI was video only, and HDMI was both, was just curious if there was also a better video quality from HDMI.

Thanks for the info.

Nope. It's exactly the same for video quality.
