An interesting article on CBR about Emerald Knights.

I got my copy in the mail today from Amazon. Not too shabby.
For those that make a big deal about slipcovers, this one has a nice cover that shines in many directions from the Power Battery in the center of the cover. A litho cell is basically a framed picture from the movie. This one features Hal Jordan pointing his ring and a green circle energy emitting from it. It's pretty cool, about 2/3 the size of a Blu-ray box. |

That would be an awkward set because both cartoons aren't in the same continuity. I tried to make sense of the two, thinking of EK as taking place within FF, but it just doesn't work. If they were in the same continuity, since Hal Jordan and Sinestro are Green Lanterns, the events of EK would take place within FF. Like a couple scenes that were missing from FF. It's hard to buy that, considering the huge events that happen in it. At the beginning of EK, the Guardians deem it necessary to relocate the Central Power Battery from Oa for a while. The plot of EK is basically about trained and experienced Hal Jordan telling the rookie, Arisia Rrab, stories of the Green Lantern Corps. In FF, Arisia is already a Green Lantern when Hal joins. There are a bunch of little things. Anyway, I liked it. It gave nice individual stories of Kilowog, Abin Sur, Laira, and the first Green Lanterns. Apparently, these stories are based on actual comics. The Blu-ray has some good documentaries about Green Lantern, to be a hero and without fear, and Geoff Johns (amazing Green Lantern writer).
