That's because Cameron directs more than 1 film every 20 years, and doesn't milk his franchises for decades and tries new things. Not to mention he knows how to write dialogue and strong characters.

At the very least we should be glad that the LF logo is attached to something other than SW or Indy.

Maybe acting and dialogue wise, but I find Episode 2 way more entertaining. The last forty five minutes of that movie, for me, is some of the most fun I had as a teenager at the theater. It may be a nostalgia thing, but I actually enjoy a vast majority of that movie. The only thing I could do without is some of the love story in the middle of the movie.

Looks okay. More of a rental in my opinion. I don't like that it is "based on true events". Sounds like it will not be very historically accurate. Sometimes I am okay with that, but these events seem somewhat important to history. Just my initial thoughts.

Just saw it 3 more times. I lost it completely. The effects! Finally, WW2 aerial combat! Sure, it looks like they're dogfighting like X-Wings, but...COME ON! THERE'S MESSERSCHMITT ME-262s IN THAT PREVIEW! AHHHH!!!

I'm a slave to anything Georgey puts out anyway. Just to see the aerial combat of those aircraft that I've never seen in a movie before outside of Pearl Harbor.

The trailer actually looked a lot better than I was expecting. But seeing as Red Tails is being released in the dumping ground that is January, I am worried about the quality of the film itself. Pretty good cast though.

Really?? You must be talking about a different James Cameron? Not the guy who gave us Aliens, The Abbys, True Lies or the queen of all cardboard generic characters, Avatar?

It's a different James Cameron you are talking about right?

I'm fed up with these haters, Lucas has stumbled just as every director, producer has. I, as many of you on the forums have been critical, but enough is enough. If you're so repeatedly critical of something (especially before it's release) then go and do it better and stop posting this crap. The man along with many unsung artists alongside and under him have broken so much ground in filmmaking. What have you done? Write, something, direct something, edit something. Good grief.

The man is one lousy director and he has even admitted to hating the job of directing. The guy has directed two, count em two great films, SW ANH and American Graffiti! That's it.......oh and he had help with Kurtz on both of those so there ya go. I have a bad feeling about this film as well although the subject matter is a very interesting one.

So you need to be in the industry to be critical of something? I'll go write Ebert and tell him that he has no right...

But I do write/edit/direct my own films, so I guess I have the right to be critical. And this is actually my first time talking about GL, and I would hardly call him an "unsung artist".
