Default Toshiba commercials=hillarious

Just saw an HD-DVD commercial. It said "the TRULY hi-definition format" and emphasized the truly. I laughed

Anything Toshiba say now is utterly ridiculous. They are the joke of the industry.

Toshiba should focus on their TV's more, just drop HD-DVD.

No. popping it will just make it come back - repeatedly.

The pimple needs to be shot with somthing. like a hand gun. ...right in the face.

That'll stop'em!

They could use the money on their R&D in the TV department... never been a fan of their LCD's which is a shame considering the size they are, they should have amazing sets but compared to similar priced TV's I find them mediocre, at best.

On the other end of the coin, I just saw one of "The Future is Blu" commercials. One of them had an HD-DVD person (interview style) say he's tried HD-DVD and it's clear, but Blu is hands down better and is no comparison.

That's good enough, but seeing it on Universal HD made me bust up laughing.

Btw, when did Universal HD start putting commercials in movies? That really sucks as I don't remember them doing so....

They most likely figured they would have Warner in their corner after the show so are coming out like they are the winners and we all know they are now serious losers!

It's like betting on a racehorse after the race in which it lost...

Did "TRULY" come out with crackling and popping noises from poor quality compression?

Truly radio quality.

I must admit that my laptop is a Toshiba and it's absolutely wonderful. Mine wasnt a very expensive one (christmas gift last year to get me through college) And my mom just bought a $1300 (cant remember the brand, but not Toshiba) for herself, Of course it has vista and everything else in her laptop is at least double what mine has. Yet mine runs A LOT faster and smoother. I a completely satisfid with them a PC company

Amazon is still packing in those HD-DVD ads with their Blu-rays when they ship them. I added that to my toilet paper roll in the bathroom.
