srsly, is this the best that they can do, promote HD-DVD players as good upconveting players?!??!?!? Why don't you just let it die Toshiba!!!!

well some folks over at dbstalk.com think its genius because people will buy them as upconverters, since the price is similar, and then since they have it, they'll buy HD DVD instead and the "suddenly, HD DVD starts winning the sales war"

HA!

The Clintons could hire these fan boys as their new spin-masters.

J6P doesn't need another upconvert player he needs a player for the future. The Future Is Blu.

Tosh is desperate... if they can't get people to go HD-DVD, they MUST keep them from going blu... if people go blu and stop buying DVDs, toshiba loses the revinue from royalties... if they can convince them to stay DVD, they can continue milking the royalties from that format.
