This BS has already been posted.
Make sure to use the search tool. And also try not to post things like this as it is obviously pure FUD with no sources, no credibility, and no evidence. it is speculation that Warner already shot down but they just refuse to listen and keep convincing themselves they won. |

I have a question, where in the crap did this whole "Fox was about to jump ship!" thing come from? HD DVD's copy protection is hacked and they have no way of creating any new copy protection. BD+ has actually worked so far and that's mostly what Fox cares about. Look at their DVD's, they've even started including "Digital Copies" just to keep people from pirating. So again, where are they getting this Fox thing from? And why would WB switch to HD DVD when they said they'll be looking at sales numbers? Blu-Ray outsold HD DVD in every single aspect of this format war thus far without HD DVD winning a single week's sales in over a year now. So why would they go HD DVD exclusive if another studio did? That makes no sense to me. |

Sure, trust Gizmodo...
![]() How could they gather any information at CES, they were all too busy f'ing up everyone's booths and presentations. The FOX rumors are nothing more than fans wanting to believe HD DVD had a chance. |

The basic point in all these articles is rediculous. They claim that Warner would have gone HDDVD exclusive if Fox would have done so first.
But WHY would Fox ever support HDDVD? It doesnt have region coding, it has terrible copy protection, disc sales in all markets are well below blu-ray, and they have less players sold. Plus Fox would obviously know that supporting HDDVD would support the format war, and thats bad for all studios. It doesnt make any sense. They just want Bluray to look like the evil greedy conglomerate. |

blu ray has always been easily outselling duds. so why would a studio like fox want to jump off a side thats clearly winning to be a part of some losing mess? lol people need to at least make their lies look believable.
