Starship troopers being one of my all time favourite movies I had to watch in HD straight away. Another couple of movies I will watch asap when I get them are:

Watchmen, which is on its way in the special Nite owl edition. And rise of the planet of the apes because it was such a freaking awesome movie.

Almost never. Still don't understand why I insist on running out to get them on release day (minus exclusives) since it usually takes me days/weeks before I watch them.

I'm going to define immediately to mean I watched the movie on the same day it was purchased, but not necessarily the minute I walked in the door with it.

I think this ones targeted at the movies you went to the store and just had to watch as soon as you walked back into your home. Or as soon as FedEx left your house you just had to open it up and put it in the player.

Mine usually sit for a while (some for a long while) but I watched The Big Lebowski the night I got it and absolutely loved it.

I think The Maltese Falcon might have been another exception I just had to see right away.
