I'd like to see what you guys think of this article. I think this guy has the HDDVD love goggles on and can't see past his own nose: Quote:

THis guy is such a dumbass its painful to read. His points are ludicrous. He is stuck in the now and expects Bluray players to be expensive forever. He assumes replication is still an issue. And yet he DOESNT realise that going red-ex wouldnt have given a clear winner and thus doomed HDM. WHat a moron.

It seems like ever HDDVD fanboy out there is writing his own article how HDDVD would have been the better format. Funny how the guy does not say anything about how now that it is basically over Toshiba is extending the war by lowering player prices.. Oh well some people can never be changed.

I read this kind of article and I envision someone who had bought over 100 HD-DVD's and at least two HD-DVD players (one first generation model and a newer one during the $99 dumping). Now he's complaining because "Warner made the wrong decision"? Ha!
Nothing positive in this. Just whine, whine, whine, whine.... Give me my two minutes back for reading this garbage please. EDIT: I read the quoted article without noticing the web site it came from. If I had seen it was from rdjam's site I wouldn't even had bothered looking at the quote. Just more FUD from a HD-DVD extemist who has had his parade rained on. I'm pretty sure it is. For those following on the highdefdigest.com forums, on January 3rd he said that he would support whichever side Warner chose. Even started a poll that looks like it was meant to be used against Blu-ray supporters, where rdjam would be able to say that he had been committed to supporting Blu-ray if Warner chose Blu-ray, so therefore Blu-ray supporters should support HD DVD with Warner moving to HD DVD exclusively. But then he got a surprise. When they went the way he didn't expect, he then changed his mind, giving rumors of payoffs and going against what their techinical analysis said as his reasons for not doing what he said he would. He claims that he planned to support Blu-ray if Warner chose Blu-ray at the time that he said he would, but anybody who has followed rdjam closely is probably not surprised that his word wasn't good on this one. He basically decided to trot out talking points from before Warner's decision.

[Big Shrug]Live and let live.
rdjam, kosty would be voted most likely to start the hddvdphile society where the compiled myth of the cheaper, superior, more interactive format can be great talking points for eternity. (Reminds me of the Betaphile society, started as a betamax defense group). They might very well find that crusade more enjoyable than watching any highdef movies. It's pointless. When someone continues to flog a dead horse, you don't debate him on the finer points of getting another live horse until he accepts that his horse is dead. Neither is a critique on the finesse of each blow from the whip worthy of any sane spectator. Move along, nothing to see. It happens even to the best of us.
