I just got back from Macworld. That was the WORST Macworld I have ever been to. The MacBook Air is so stupid. It looks cool and I realize it's the way of the future but it needs some SERIOUS improvement.

I did the iPhone 1.1.3 update last night. I LOVE it! The new maps is awesome. So much better now that it can pin point your position like a real GPS and then route you to where to want to go. Also moving around the home icons is real nice, except for the fact that I'm used to where they are positioned by default, so if I change them, then its going to feel really weird trying to find the icon in a different location. Making the bookmarks is kind of cool too.

The MacBook Air is pretty impressive for the people who want mobility. But I am one that wants power and you're only able to get the 1.6 or optional 1.8 which is worthless to me and I want a 17" model as well, with a larger than 80GB hard drive. I know its possible for them to do too, the iPods are thin and 160GB models, they could do the same for the MacBook Air. But I know, I know, it was made to be extremely light-weight and small, but its not for me.

The new time capsule is nice. Too bad I just bought their 802.11n Airport Extreme and couple months ago and got a 500GB external HD for christmas.

I am very disappointed that there is no Blu-ray support. I love to be able to take my Blu-rays as I travel with my MacBook Pro.

Just watched the keynote in full, loved Jim Gianopulos (Fox's CEO) comments on Blu Ray. Short but sweet.

I can't wait just to get the update for the Stacks fix, and performance improvement. Leopard has been great so far, but if it can get even better, then bring it on. Anyone know when the update should be released. I actually thought it would be yesterday.

I am definitely picking up a time capsule. Was trying to decide between an airport and external hard drive. Apple just made my decision easy.

Dude what is Airport?!?! Seriously! I had a base station i just didn't know what it did! (i'm sounding really dumb, i know) Is it a router? an extension for a router? I just didn't get it and my netgear with extenders was fine so i returned it. Please explain!

Also, any one having probs with front trailers on a mac pro?

Yes, it is an airport extreme base station which is a wireless router with inputs for printing, etc. It will allow you to share your printer with other PC's/Macs and print wirelessly and now with the built in hard drive you can also perform wireless backups to the same device.

They HAVE to, there's not even a decent Superdrive in the MacBook Air!

(So, no CD-Rom burning, and no DVD-watching on plane/train commutes...Then pray tell, what are we supposed to use the notebook for?)

Also (with built-in Airport card on iMacs and laptops) lets you use wireless Internet modem service over Bluetooth, and is compatible with your PS3's wireless Internet connection.
(To bring it back to topic.)

Out of curiosity, why Apple is thinking that ipod touch owners shold pay for the same soft that iphone has for free?
And where is iphone nano with g3? I figure all that Apple die hard fans got iphone, those who don't really care about internet connectivity speed got it too, so what about those who want their 500$ phone to be really worth it, or somehow worth it?

Cheers Spankey, when i had mine the wireless printing was great it was just that the signal was always so weak and my PS3 wouldn't connect to it.

The hard drive feature is a great idea but it looks like you can only use for time machine and not other information. Shame

You can use the hard drive any way you like. It is just an external wireless drive. Perfect for backing up data or sharing with other computers.

To each his own, but other than better UI iphone is outdated. There's tons of cells out there having same or better features. Not Apple of course.

Nah, I dont' wanna continue, since I don't want to get involved in another apple related flame.
I'm not pretending to be unbiased either, I dislike apple as a company because of their policies. I do have ipod and ipod nano. That's about it.

Safari on iPhone loads pages so much faster than my 3G BlackJack. The download speeds aren't as fast, but it loads the page much faster. Besides the lack of 3G, what else is bad about the iPhone?!
