Default hd digest mistake or hd dvd fanboy showing

oka so i read teh review for hd dvd versioin of resident evil apocolips
http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/1324/...alypse_de.html
then i switch to the blu-ray review under the movie its self star grading he gave the hd dvd version a full star more then the blu-ray make me wounder... maybe this guy liked it more then the other guy (but shoudlent they be consistent) or maybe the fact that its a hd dvd made it better?

and the hd dvd version is a 15 gig disc encoded with mpeg 2 has hi res audio and extras!!! its a 94 minute movie? even at 23 mbits i just cant under stand that and it has the same pq? the bd version was a bd-50

bd review here
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/resi...pocalypse.html

like the newest resident evil at 720p h.264n is 14.2 gigs on tourrent sites(high bitrate) so i dunno what happened there care to explan? if any one knows just curious

Two different reviewers. One liked the movie more than the other.
I do agree that hidefdigest is hd dvd fanboy central, however.
I avoid that site except to check the news now and again.

Yeah they are (HD DVD fanboys) ... I remember reading the review for Matrix Trilogy for hd dvd and they were touting it as the end for Blu-ray. Well, let's see, Matrix is Warner and Warner is now Blu-ray so who gets the last laugh now? I can't wait for Matrix on Blu. Gonna be freakin' sweet!

that site is super bias but pretend to be neutral. It really shows in the reviews and the forums are full of hd dud fanboy fud. The site should really be deleted from the internet and sent to the phantom zone forever...

These guys have always favored HD DVD. Be it annoucements in favor of the Red team or posted negative news on our Blu team. The reviews have also always been against Blu for the most part. They are not pro Blu as of yet. Though if you go on there right now, they actually have the story on the sales numbers from last week saying that Blu had the 85% win, though they close the story with saying that the Red team had a really good holiday season with 35% sales. If they were pro Blu, there would be no mention of the Red sales in that story, no need to.

The company that made that import recently went BD exclusive. It won't be long before they run out of DUD movies to review and spread their nonsense.

there is no 'standard' otherwise a computer could analyze the movie in quest rating on video quality, Audio quality, and talent... however not possible so you are face with human Bias, HD-DVD reviewers don't want to concede Blu-ray wins, look at transformers http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/transformers.html 5 stars on the audio, but it's only DD+ (lossy) imagine what Transformers would have got if it was on a Blu-ray disc, and didn't have to compromise quality for space... "...the question was asked almost immediately -- why no Dolby TrueHD or uncompressed PCM? The studio's answer was that due to space limitations on the disc, the decision was made to limit the audio to Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 Surround only (here at 1.5mbps)."

Most review fail to mention several time the presence of banding in their review. A lot of Warner Title have this problem (not all but a lot). Early Fox MPEG2 title have Macroblock too.
