I'm not sure if this is the best thread to post this question on, but I couldn't find a better one with there being so many threads. I was reading some arguments made by HD-DVD fanboys that troubled me, so I was hoping that maybe someone could explain if these points are flawed. These are the direct quotes I read:

"HD-DVD is technically superior to Blue Ray (MPEG2and H.264, Blue Ray only supports MPEG2)"

"On HD DVDs, better Video-Codecs (VC-1) and bettersound formats are basic standards. Please supportHD DVD!"

I prefer Blu-ray, so I'm not trying to start any trouble. I'm just looking for answers.
