Interesting. Still need official confirmation and details, but I would imagine retailers would start to phase out HD DVD fairly soon.

The detail I would want to know the most in this is case... Is this just in regard to hardware? i.e. Will Walmart stop selling the movies in stores as well.

I've seen this floating around, still rumors to the best of my knowledge. But it is widely know that most retailers are looking to end this thing.

Some are saying he meant Target.
As the details are similar.

But theres been no official retraction.

I wonder if this was actually spilled beans?

I'm not convinced this is WM. If you check online, we now have 5 standalone HD-DVD players for sale....
