I sympathize with your plight kx11, but sometimes it is worth the time to read through those agreements (NDA's or otherwise) every once in a while just so you have some basic familiarity with what can and cannot be done. About 90% of the time, I just do what you did in your Home video-scroll through all the goobledegook and hit the Accept button after I've gotten to the end. But even after all of that, especially with Betas, I have a basic understanding that sharing information regarding something along these lines-unless you're posting in an area that's clearly associated with the Beta or dealing with the Beta releasing party directly. Making videos of Betas would most definitely fall into that category of "I don't think I should be doing this..." even on a basic level. If I strongly wanted to share something like this, then I would make it a point to read the fine-print first. If the QORE thing is related to your ban, then same rules apply I would have to believe.
Unfortunately, when we hit the "I agree" or "I accept" button, it signifies that we have read and understood what we're agreeing to or accepting, regardless of whether it actually was read/understood or not. ![]() But I hope it works out for you in the end man. |

You're waiting for them to apologize or are you waiting for them to bend the rules because you're special?
![]() Either way, lol. Why dont you buy a new PS3 and swap the cases? |

Um... from the confirmation, it doesn't sound like they just banned the hardware. I expressed surprise earlier that they banned the console and not the account, and the response confirms it; they banned your account, possibly not the hardware.
The good news, if you want to call it that, is that it's likely that the PS3 itself can get back online if you create a new account. The bad news is that any purchases you've made through PSN on the account that just got nuked are now gone permanently, as are your trophies for it. Oh, and before you go getting any false hopes, there's basically zero chance of such a ban getting reversed. I can't think of any case where a console manufacturer has reversed a valid permaban without threat of legal action, and for that to work you'd need a better reason than "It's not fair!". |
