I don't like it when they can't easily be pulled off. However, some rubbing alcohol or even Goo Gone works fine for me and never damages anything.
If it doesn't peel off right away then it's best to not bother forcing it as the slipcover will just be damaged by fingernails and whatever else. |

I used to hate them all...now from people on the forums I like to keep factory ones. If they are price tags or anything else, I remove them with lighter fluid. Works every time. What I really hate stickers on is video game cases, specifically used ones. Man, sometimes they just keep pasting more stickers over ones that are already there and sometimes they even put them on the spines on the paper artwork! I'm just like what the ****! Sometimes even if I buy a new release it's already unwrapped with a price sticker on it. I ask for a wrapped one every time.

I really love the shine and vibrancy that results from using Goo-Gone on a slipcover, especially ones with the sparkly finish that most of the Disney Diamond Edition releases have, but my question is:
Will using Goo-Gone as a "slipcover shiner" leave any lasting negative effects on the surface of the slip? ![]() |

I do the following (most of the time) for purchases at a B&M store:
For on-line orders, I will start at the fourth bullet. If the slipcover is damaged, I won't bother to send it back for a replacement, and I'll either live with it or seek out a replacement later. So, that pretty much sums it up for me, lol! I kind of wish I just threw them away now. Last edited by mr. b; 10-21-2011 at 08:54 PM. |

Haha I definitely agree with that ,I just don't understand its like the people who put these stickers on have never bought a movie or are just to lazy to care about how their collection looks.

I use my gf's hairdryer and works just like a champ....I'm surprised at how few know about that trick. Been using the hairdryer trick since 2005 with anime slipcovers, etc...
