Question: PS3 External Hard Drive

I bought one of those nice little Western Digital passport external drives...160gigs, decent price...cute right?

I mostly bought it to back up some stuff on my computer while going through a format, but now that that's over with, I'd like to use it with my PS3.

My question is, external drives have to be formated with FAT32 to work with the PS3 correct?

If that's so, how do I format an external 160gig hard drive to FAT32? (NTFS is the only option that comes up to format it, and when I plug it into my PS3, it knows something is there...but then doesn't bring anything up).

See above ... or if you have a Mac it can format large drives with FAT32 and save you the hassle with Windows.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll go through the process tonight hopefully...

PS3 Video9 is basically useless to me now that the PS3 supports DivX
