Will BB even be shipping this on Friday because of the holiday? I'm personally going to the store right at open on Friday, but it would be good to know for people who are relying on shipping.

How come some of you here aren't picking up at a nearby store instead of having them shipped? I'm going to run out and get mine during lunch on Friday.

Many of the stores are showing "not available" for in-store pick-up on pre-orders after Bestbuy lowered the Blu-ray 3D part 1&2 prices.

Interesting... The stores near me are showing that you can still pre-order Part 1 at nearly all of them, but Part 2 is the one where there are only a handful still accepting pre-orders. Luckily, the one I'm picking up from still has both available for pre-order (even though I've had them pre-ordered for a few days now). Surely, the stores that are "Unavailable" are not already pre-sold out...right?

I really doubt they're out. Like I said, my store is in a fairly large market, and we're getting nearly 300 copies in 3D.

my guess is they will at least be $29.99 up to $39.99. but that is close to the holidays so you may be able to catch them on sale. i would say expect to pay that much and consider it a bonus if you get them cheaper a previous post says they will go up to $24.99 on sunday but who knows how long they will stay that price... probably only another week.

My prefered store has part 1 for pick up but part 2 is unavailable. Delivery date for part 2 is 11/11 - 11/18. Oh well, I guess that will give me time to watch part 1 in 3D to refresh my recollection.

Our system says regular price is $29.99, so its unlikely you'll pay any more than that.

I received an e-mail saying my copies are being shipped today. I can't access the tracking number yet to see when it should arrive.

well there you go. i was just going off of the fact that the website has the list price at 44.98. that and cars 2 went up to 39.99 after the 1st week. but you would know better than i would

Anyone think it's strange that neither film's 3D version hasn't been reviewed? The movies are released Friday and I haven't seen any reviews of the 3D version of either film.

Since they're exclusive to Best Buy and Sony, its unlikely that Warner sent out screener copies. Based on the quality of the conversion in theaters, I'm not too worried about it. Even if they suck, you're only paying $2 more per movie than the 2D Combo pack.

Part 2's 3D was surprisingly brilliant. I would expect the Part 1 3D to be the same.

Both of mine have supposedly shipped, but the tracking info is still not up. My experiences with Streamlite is not good. There was one package that I never did get and the other one came in late.
