To be honest, I enjoyed it more than Fright Night - which wasn't that great.

WOW thats a bad cover I dont like it at all and was there no 3D version announced? Thats the one I would want to pick up if I decide to buy this flick at all? Hope the 3D version is not one of those retail store exclusives...

According to HighDefDiscNews, no sign of a 3D release.

Quote:
In an early alert to retailers FOX has made public their plans to bring the 2011 David Ellis directed horror film “Shark Night” (a.k.a. “Shark Night 3D“) to Blu-ray Disc (in 2D) on January 3rd, 2012. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $27.99 price tag. FYI: No mention here of a Blu-ray 3D version of the film being included or released separately.

UPDATE: The bonus materials set to be included on this “combo pack” release, in addition to a Digital Copy of the film, are listed below.

“Shark Attack! Kill Machine!”
“‘Shark Night’s’ Survival Guide”
“Fake Sharks – Real Scares”
“Ellis’ Island”

Oh, god. This movie was so bad. And I usually love bad flicks with hot people in it. Predictable as hell. Sharks? More like people spazzing out in the water, pretending they're being attacked, and then going under. No actual shark.

I was shocked at the male ass scene in the movie. And the word "titties" in a PG-13 flick.

The ending was ridiculous. I doubt anyone would scream at that. Total Piranha rip-off.

I will buy this if it's $10 only because I'm a fan of 4 of the actors in the film.

OTHERWISE, EFF THIS MOVIE, BRING ON PIRANHA 3DD WITH DANIELLE PANABAKER!!!

Glad I am one (of the fourteen people in the world) who saw it in 3D.

It's nostalgic for me now and I would buy day one if it was coming in 3D.
(I'm bummed the scrapped the 3D.)

This movie was shot with every intention of getting a PG-13 rating.

If you can call people falling into the water and getting killed by something unseen as a "creature feature", then so be it.
