I'll be picking this one up with no hesitations. Tony Scott and Denzel work very well together. Give me this and then Man on Fire 2 weeks later and I'm good until Pirates comes.

Nice!
I liked this one, not as good as Man on Fire, but still good none the less.
And I think the cinematography will translate well to BD, which is not as gritty (not that gritty is bad thing) as MoF.

You forget those are MSRPS.

We all know that places like Amazon, Deep Discount, DVDEmpire, etc. are going to sell it for a lot less than MSRP, as always.

Actually, before you place an order with Amazon, they ask you "Do you want to add $XX.XX to your total, so you can get Free Shipping?" Or something like that...

In this case the "$XX.XX" will be "$00.51"

That's why I like Amazon so much.

Anyways, I saw this movie in theaters. Terrific movie. Denzel is amazing, just like in any other movie he's been in.

Now there's two Denzel movies I'm getting:

Deja Vu and Man On Fire.

I was just on amazon.com and I saw that runtime on the DVD version of Déjà vu was 126 minutes but then I found out that runtime of Déjà vu on blu-ray was 130 minutes. Is this right? Or was this a mistake on Amazon's part? Someone please help.

I think it's a mistake, I haven't heard of any extended cuts, it's 126 minutes everywhere else.

Very few members who posted in this thread back in 2007 are still active on here. It looks like many dropped out of active participation once the format war was properly settled.

This is a great movie, excellent sci-fi. And quality of the BD is great too. I would say its Val Kilmer's last great film, that I know about. He has been in tons of direct to DVD movies. I did like Spartan that he did as a Tier One operator.

I just revisited this flick in light of the Disney/Fox debacle, knowing it will never see the light of day on 4k uhd. The disc held up decently enough, and it was great to see high-level Denzel again in this fun, tense, high-energy, fast-paced, somewhat-forgotten popcorn actioner. I say forgotten because no one has thought to mention this film around these parts for over TEN years. Get yer blu rays and/or spare copies now, while it's still cheap, and before the mouse kills it dead outright on physical media. I've been revisiting all these Buena Vista titles lately, making sure I've future-proofed my collection sufficiently.
