Sony BDP-S1E - 3.7 firmware. - Blu-ray Forum

Hi - I'm new as a member but have been browsing this site for a while - always found it a great source of info, especially as I'm from the behind-the-times UK.

I've updated my Sony BDP-S1E to firmware 3.7, and I'm sure the extra features have lept forward (from version 2.0 - as bought). Sunshine now has some cool menu options for instance.

I was just wondering if anyone else had had similar experiences and what their thoughts were on our seeming profile 1.1 issue?

That firmware isn't valid for US version of the S1. Does it say Bonus View (profile 1.1) support in the list of improvements?

... is what it says on the Sony site, so no profile 1.1. It's seems we're missing some hardware when it comes to getting that (can anyone confirm for definate?). Can't think we're missing too much though, as this latest firmware update seemed to give me some cool extras.
