Taking everything into account - product quality, customer service, etc.
TV makers I can think of...Pioneer, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Philips, Vizio, Westinghouse, LG, Olevia, Magnavox, Dynex, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, HP, Polaroid...umm...hmmm. I would list them as such: Pioneer Panasonic Sony Samsung Mitsubishi Philips Toshiba Vizio LG Olevia Dynex HP Magnavox Polaroid |

I think ZENITH made the best tvs in terms of hardware quality.. we still have one that works since i was like 6 (and some vcrs), Sony too
buttt since zenith isnt zenith anymore 1.Pioneer/Sony 2.Samsung/Mitsubishi (not sure on how good they are now but ill put em here anyhow) i do not like toshibas... have had nothing but problems with their tvs, thank god for warranties |

Panasonic
JVC ...and if you have unlimited amounts of money, you could buy artsy-fartsy, stylish Bang & Olufsen displays that use Panasonic panels. If you have nothing else to do with your money and decide to go this route, Bang & Olufsen has great customer service. |

Plasma
1. Pioneer 2. Panasonic LCD 1. Sony 2. Sharp Plasmas and LCDs have different uses, so I'm not going to put an order between the two. I think the best plasmas have better picture quality than the best LCDs but I bought an LCD myself due to other factors (ambient lighting, computer monitor use, etc.) enjoy gandalf ![]() |
