I like the poster. I just don't think it is at all consistent with Bourne. It looks too... Mission-Impossible-meets-Get-Smart.

I think i should have waited to buy the trilogy. I just got the trilogy less than a week ago for 40 from BB.

My favorite in the trilogy is The Bourne Ultimatum.
It's a great stand alone action flick even if you've never seen the first two movies.

I've never been too crazy on the Bourne films, so giving this a miss isn't too hard, It doesn't look to bad, just looks generic. I'm certain I won't be missing out on much.

I actually like the trailer. It looks much better than I anticipated, and I'm glad they've done away with Paul Greengrass' shakycam, because it was headache inducing after a while. It'll be nice to have another Bourne movie with some well staged fights I can actually see.

Suit yourself, but I think the Bourne series has been one of the most consistently entertaining and intelligent spy franchises, not that there are a whole lot to compare it to. It's sort of the smart thriller, action picture for the crowd that fancies themselves too smart for dumb action, but the films are also just as accesible for the latter crowd.

I never actually said what I thought of the trailer

It's a good trailer and I liked the key kill

it just didn't look very interesting, I don't really know what mystery to can get into it considering the story has pretty much been told. I also like the lack of shakycam, the Bourne films where the only ones to give me a headache

I wasn't jumping on you for it, bud.

I just happened to post the trailer before I watched it, so I put my thoughts after. But I had to comment on your statement first.

But yeah, I'm liking the lack of shakycam for sure. It was fine in Bourne Supremacy, but it was too much in Ultimatum I felt. Excited to see how this one plays out.

The trailer was better than I expected... my interest in the movie just went up a notch or two - which I guess is the purpose of a trailer.

I wonder if the powers that be hope to one day make a movie where Renner chases Bourne or vice versa.
