Hey, I am doing a project at school about blu-ray and how the discs/players work and why (thanks to new technology) they are better than DVD's... I have found a few sites on the web that are useful but not much and was wondering if anyone could refer me to some sites where I might find more technical information about the format?

This has all the technical specifications some available to the public.

Blu-ray technically is very similar to DVD, a laser (much finer) is shone onto a disc with pits in it the reflected light (or not).

It must be the season. If you do a just a little bit of research here you will find another thread with almost the same request just a day or two ago
