Default Thanks for the advice....im blu.

I just wanted to thank the guys who helped me decide on which format to chose. Although I orignally wanted HD to come out on top, what with them being cheaper and no region code. But after the warner bro incident...well what can I say. I went out and bought a PS3 on your recommendations, and good god, why didnt I do it sooner? The picture is nothing short of amazing, it really has to be seen to belived. I didnt think the picture could get any better than the SD picture....how wrong I was. So Id just like to thank

GRISLE
JORG
JIML
CASTING STONES
BHUYANP and all the other guys who replied to my post.

My advice to anyone looking for a blu ray player, is you definatly cant go wrong with a PS3.

P.S.
wheres the best place for blu ray discs? (UK)
sendit?
play?

Cheers guys.

Hello mate.. glad you've found your Blu-ray experience great.. me too. Personally I tend to either go with Sendit.com who USUALLY beat most places on price or Movietyme.com where there's a "region free UK PS 3 playable" section setup on the site as well as a blog.link which states which new releases are region free and those which are not, you'll be surprised at just how many films ARE region free and available before UK release. I've used them a ton of times and I've never had a problem with import tax etc, just popped through my door like any other parcel. I've also got Amazon Prime so I use Amazon.co.uk a fair bit as well when price are no different to elsewhere for 1 day free delivery.

You can still import many discs from other regions. 67.90% of all Blu-rays are region free and can be played anywhere in the world. Check the following website to find out which BDs are region free

Congrats! Vinc. You got yourself the BEST out there. many of us here believe(or, rather certain) that PS3 has been one of the best investment in gizmo since a long time. PS3's got a lot under its hood that just a blu-ray player.

Start exploring and you will be pleasantly surprised.

PlayB3yond mate.
