Just read this and was really happy to hear it. I thought the cartoon never got a chance to really breakout and it really was awesome.

I like Kevin Smith... and have liked most of his movies (loved quite a bit of them including Clerks, Clerks II, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, etc. in no certain order)...
BUT... I didn't really care for the Clerks cartoon. It didn't work for me. |

your not alone there, I liked the show but wished that it wasn't on ABC so Kevin Smith could have more room to have the cartoon be like the movie. |

I'm fine with this. The original run was excellent. Some truly classic moments that I still utter to this day:
Last I had heard, Mewes was going to be involved with an animated feature. Not sure if these have no become one or if they're still separate entities. |

You are not alone, my friend. I was a die-hard Smith fan for years, but I'm tired of him. Not only him. but his constant need to fall back on Jay & Silent Bob after he claims every few years that he his done with that universe. Your time is up and the gimmick is done. Accept it and move on. |

Smith should have called it Sorry State, because that film was one sorry state of affairs. It was kind of a View Askew version of No Country For Old Men, so far as the ending goes. Except that No Country... is a great film, and Red State is crap. |
