Just watched Ronin on Blu-ray. Absolutely Fantastic. Crystal clear picture, perfect transfer. The chase scenes are even more amazing on blu-ray.

Before anyone responds "it's not released yet", it is here is Japan.

it's region A and very expensive here, Yen4935 on amazon.co.jp which is roughly USD46!!! not much in the way of discounts here. from what i hear though it's coming out in the US this month.

Is this film really good? Because I had a chance to buy it on Blu-ray for $4 or $5 brand new awhile back, but I wasn't impressed by the trailer.

I really like it a lot. Lost track of how many times I've watched it over the years.

It's a terrible, grubby transfer on a disc with no extras.

Arrow are doing a 4K restoration in August.
