Yea I am going to order Arrow's 'Dawn of the Dead' and their 'Tenebrae' Blu from Amazon.UK tonight. I want to collect all of Arrow's 'Dario Argento' Blus when I can afford it. Their 4 different covers and extras are bad ass. I just wish Blue Underground would release stuff like that.

I have most of Argento's Blu-ray movies and Romero's 'Night, Dawn and Day' Blu-rays but, want the Arrow ones also for the extra artwork, slipcases and stuff. I won a Blu-ray of Dario Argento's 'Phenomena' from Arrow on eBay a few days ago from someone in New York. I've never seen it ot 'Tenebrae' (Tenebre).

Yeah the Arrow releases are nice packaging wise, to whet your appetite there's 10 pics of the Dawn set here in my HTGallery. Another 11 pics further down that page of the Day set too

Thanks man. Those are fantastic. Also, are the cases themselves, are they the thicker Blu-ray cases like some in the UK are? I have 'Hannibal' and 'Red Dragon' Universal Blu-rays from the UK and they are like blue PS3 cases. And I have a 'Night of the Living Dead' Blu-ray from Netwerk and it is a regular US thinner Blu-ray case.

Most UK releases are the 14mm spine Amaray boxes, and we do occasionally get the 12.5mm Elite cases (often in film boxsets). The Arrow Dawn set is a 14mm case, whereas Day is a 12.5mm box (so they could fit the Comic book along side it).

The amaray cases are cool as they usually have slots to clip in a disc tray. I've slotted in DVD copies of films into blu-ray box, when I've double dipped.

Cropped from 2.35:1 to 2.00:1, color timing changed too. Search on DVD Beaver for visuals. It isn't Arrow's fault, it's the rights owners' and Storraro's.

Well I got my 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978) Arrow Blu-ray in the mail today! Just a week after I ordered it. That was FAST. I absolutely love it. Their releases are bad ass. I now have this and Dario Argento's 'Phenomena' on Blu-ray from Arrow.

Its £10 at Amazon & play.com so get orders in now to avoid disappointment and/or paying silly money once the stock starts to thin.

It's already OOP. See a few posts up.

Whats left in stores is it. No more will be made and stores won't replen once they sell out.

Unless I'm mistaken, this edition should come with a slip as standard.

Well on amazon.uk i can still order it but it says it can take up to 9-10 days for them to get it back in stock. So basiclly if i want it, i should place my order now ASAP? By any chance do you know of any other good titles i can order with this film? any other good arrow releases that are OOP or going to be OOP?

I would order ASAP if you really want it.

http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProduct...689&sku=232577

and

http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/dawn-of...d&affil=thggps

Still have it listed as in stock, but they are a bit more expensive than Amazon.

For now the only other they confirmed was OOP was a DVD I forget the name off the top of my head.

Also the Battle Royale Limited Edition is OOP but it may still be available to order direct from Arrows site, was around £40 last time I looked.

I hate OOP's. I usually check price finder sites to keep an eye on certain titles and I was after a vampire film DVD whose star recently died and that's gone as well now. It' was £3 for years seemingly then BANG! £60 or thereabouts....

I really should buy things when I see them for three quid!

I'm the same waited ages to get the 80's Transformers: The Movie. And when I decide it's time to buy I realise no where has it and it's selling for 60 odd pound from 3rd party sellers.

I managed to get lucky on eBay and picked it up for a few quid shy of £20 last year though so I'm happy.
