I think on the Classic Horror Film Board there were people mentioning already getting them, direct? or other places? (can't remember) but I think the Limited is sold out by now?

Here is my box set that arrived today. Outer Shipping Box then the Main item Box that was inside the shipping box. I haven't opened the Box set beyond the 3rd pic since I'm at work.

Gosh, I'm not sure Don Collinwood is right down the street from me so I am very familiar with it. I can tell you who owns Newport mansions, but my knowledge on Lyndhurst is very limited. All that I can find is that it is next to the Tappan Zee Bridge in NYC and was the set for the 1970 movie House of Dark Shadows and the 1971 movie Night of Dark Shadows, both based on the Dark Shadows series.

It's funny how Target still had this (LIMITED ED.) listed as in stock over the weekend (uh...no it wasn't) and now it's listed as back ordered. Target is out of touch. The limited edition is sold out, not back ordered. The DELUXE Edition won't be released until 7/12. Get your facts straight, Target.

Amazon dropped the price to $389.99. Everyone will automatically get a refund for the price difference. I'm getting $24 back.

No it's sold out. They basically price-matched other retailers on all the preorders.

So Amazon definitely had some of the LE to sell then? Because I recall reading that they were sold out by the time Amazon had them up to order

I prepared a spot for it but after seeing those pics I am wondering if it will actually fit in that spot, much bigger than I first imagined

No they basically retroactively price-matched/adjusted the price on all the orders that had already been placed.

I understand that. I just didn't know that Amazon had the LE up for sale at all. Like I thought the LE was sold out via the MPI store before Amazon put up their pre-order page and the were mistakenly selling the Deluxe version instead. I guess I wasn't following closely enough to when the pre-order went live and such.

I have a signed/numbered copy (the only version that currently exists) and I received it from Amazon. They were definitely selling it.

Well, I'll have to be patient if I want to get the limited edition. That or wait for someone to put that signed print on sale on eBay. I remember as a kid I'd draw Barnabas and Captain Kirk all the time.

DVDPlanet supposedly has the LE available to purchase for $523. If you search the UPC it goes to the LE, not the deluxe. They say they ship in 5-10 days:

Too rich for my blood, but thanks MifuneFan. I'll wait to find a better deal. I'll eventually track it down if it is important.
