In the fall, Warner Home Entertainment will bring 2 Broke Girls: The Complete First Season to Blu-ray. Created by Emmy-winner Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City) and stand-up comedian Whitney Cummings, this sitcom stars Kat Dennings (Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist) and Beth Behrs (American Pie Presents: The Book of Love) as two young women barely scraping by in New York City.

I love this show as well but i don't think i'd pay $40 for it.

I'd be shocked if it doesnt drop to ~$25-30 by release week.

Argh. I'm happy for everyone that loves this show, but it only reminds me of how angry I am that New Girl is only getting a dvd release.

I agree about New Girl.... One of favorite new shows of the season.... But you can't have everything, huh!?

I'm actually kind of shocked that this is getting a blu-ray release, but I'm definitely not complaining. Will be buying on DAY 1 to support the release for future seasons.

Easily the funniest new show of the year (I really enjoy "New Girl", but felt like it needed 6-8 episodes to really get going, where 2BG hit the ground running).

Yeah, that sucks, but not surprising given that Fox produces New Girl. While I am glad for what they actually do put on Blu-ray, they are very unreliable.
