I'm mid-30's and I watch Voltron, Transformers and even Korra, anime, etc... You're only as young as you feel. You can be 50 and watch He-Man, be yourself....some feel they have to fit society's mold of how they should act. I'd rather be the crazy old guy buying the 7th Avatar series, not for my grandkids, but for me.... than be playing bridge. Everyone's different though.

Anyways.... I'm making my pre-order now. I'll gladly support this release. Might even get my He-man toys out...oh wait, mom tossed them. The same woman who sold my Voltron, (NEAR MINT) original toys I had since I was 7.... *double face palm*

This is one of the very last few movies on my wishlist. So very excited to see it finally coming out!

If someone tells you, they've fully outgrown their childhood, they're telling a lie! Nobody fully outgrown their childhood, because adults still ride bicycles, eat ice cream cones, candy, popsicles, chew bubble gum, go to amusement parks, etc. Your friend is trying to deny their childhood, and has completely forgotten that he or she was a kid once themselves. Well, they're missing some of the best movies ever made in film history. Walt Disney movies are not just for kids! They are movies for the entire family to enjoy. The real reason why they don't want to watch Walt Disney movies is because, they're too clean and not full of sex, nudity, graphic violence, excessive profanity, bimbos walking around topless with their fake boobs bouncing all over the place. That's what they want to see!

Now hold on there. Fake boobs don't usually bounce.

It must have been a special effect. CGI does wonders.

Sadly, that mentality sets in for a lot of people. I'd rather watch a Disney classic any day, instead of some cinematic slut with no decency.

After watching that clip, I have one sentiment: never, ever, under any circumstances, EVER work for a stupid studio! 87 movies in simultaneous production?! No wonder most of their efforts sucked.

What's really crazy is, considering how much this film had going against it, it's amazing how good it turned out. I remember the first time I saw this. It was summer and school was out and me and my friends were having a sleepover. This was on Showtime that night and we had a blast watching this. No question, day one pick up even if it's $20. Every once in awhile you gotta relive the childhood.

Have you ever figured if Dolph's He-Man had some type of power anyway? Super-strength?

One of my favorite movie posters and guilty pleasures. I think I'd put it right up there with Flash Gordon in the fun factor for me.

ummm, no?? most of the movies i watched as a kid are still as awsome today as they were back when i saw them! i havent seen this movie since i was probably very young on TV, but i remember likeing it, and dolph lundren is perfectly cast! cant think of anyone of the time better to play this part.

the only thing i remember is some weird troll looking guys and that skeletor used to scare me lol. also, i remember they whipped heman with a laser-whip and i remember feeling really bad when that was happening.

anyway, im glad i held out renting it on DVD, so now i can see it for the first time in years, in HD quality and surround sound. cant wait!
