I think a majority of the original Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 staff are working on Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (PSP) and Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) at the moment. Once they've freed up, probably.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the it be a Wii game. But maybe we can get a spin off.

Enix and Sony have good ties and Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 were PS2 Greatest Hits. Heck I still play KH2 sometimes. Wii could not handle the data they might have in the third installment. I have heard things about there being Pixar worlds. I bet Enix would put Ratchet and Insomniac to shame. Finding Nemo, Incredibles, Toy Story, Cars could find their way into KH3

Absolute blasphemy. Insomniac did a fantastic job on Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

Square-Enix is good, don't get me wrong, but as far as development skill goes, my nod still goes to Insomniac.

I'm at work now and can't get to it, but it should be easy to find.
It looked awesome, and there is no way a wii could handle it!

If they are smart there will be 2 KH games which are not the same. One that continues the PS2 game on the PS3 and one that is more like the Gameboy version on the Wii.

If the content isn't the same, I'm enough of a fanboy to buy both of them. If the content is the same, then only PS3 for me.

I can't see it being Wii only at least I hope not.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is NOT in production at any point besides the story in Nomura's head. On the other hand, there are two side-story game being made at the moment for the PSP (Kingdom Hearts - Birth By Sleep), and for the DS Kingdom Hearts -358/2 Days). Birth By Sleep is a prequel story based on the Secret Ending of Kh2, Kh2 Final-mix, not KH3. 358/2 Days is a game with a story about Roxas, and more of where he came from. KH3 won't be in production until Final Fantasy versus 13 is where the entire KH team is currently working, with the Advent Children team at that (game will be simply amazing). The director of the Kh Series is also heading that project, so will be consumed until it is complete where Kh3 will be produced.

Whether it would be on the ps3 my gut says yes, but in these days with this ridiculous Wii phase may ruin many games, and game franchises. I have one and would dislike greatly playing this series on it instead of the ps3.

I love KH. I only hope the PS3 in-game graphics (assuming it is on PS3) are on par with the pre-rendered sequences on KH2. The Disney characters are fantastically and faithfully realised. I'd like to see more done with the Final Fantasy characters... they keep doing scenes from Disney movies with Sora, Donald and Goofy in them, but it'd be nice to scene classic scenes from FFVII, VIII, IX, etc. remastered in 3D. Particular favourites of mine were the Nightmare Before Christmas and Timeless River characters. I suppose if the next installment of what I consider the MAIN storyline IS on PS3 the Pixar characters should make interesting tales. Imagine Sora and gang as Cars, Toys, Bugs or Rats, considering what they did with the mermen and lion versions if should make for interesting gaming. Although I can imagine having Buzz as a battle guest shouting "To infinity and beyond" every five hits would get annoying.

I remember straight after completing 2 there were a whole bunch of sites claiming that the next game is going to focus on the keyblade war prior to the events of KH1 and will explain more about WHY Sora was chosen. To be honest, half of the plot is lost on me, I think I was too busy trying to pick my jaw up off the floor at the visuals. (The battle of 1000 heartless sticks out in my mind). As a huge fan of FFVII I wish they'd portray Cloud as the show off cocky cool SOLDIER boy he was at the start of the game (ie: casually getting on the moving train last minute and confidently jumping in all like "Its just what I always do". He's all too depressed after that).

But yeah erm... kinda went on a bit there. KH for PS3 please!!! Part of KHs draw was it's excellent visuals and considering what PS3 can do, and what they're doing with FFXIII I think the natural progression of the KH series will be to PS3.

I first thought that was what Final Fantasy vs XIII was gonna be!

Yes, Kingdom Hearts: Coded the downside to this is there aren't phones that can support the game in the states currently could support the game since it's for FOMA phones. Japanese are lightyears ahead our cellphone technology.
