Default My setup

Feel free to check out my setup pics.

Highlights:

- HDMI, USB 3.0 and ethernet that run from my living room to my gaming/blu-ray PC located in room directly above. These connections are mounted next to theater (right speaker). I have a powered USB 3.0 huib for connecting peripherals to computer without needing to go upstairs. The ultimate laziness
- Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that work perfectly from downstairs (not pictured)
- Logitech Harmony Link universal remote. Software needs improvement, but hardware works perfectly.

Thanks for the comments in gallery. I want to upgrade my center speaker to a Paradigm to match fronts. Also, the center speaker and cable box can't sit side by side like they are now. I am thinking cable box maybe can sit on top of receiver as long as the receiver can get enough ventilation. I am open to any suggestions.

LOL. Nice television stand. I see you have side entertainment stand too. I don't have much space for one.

I also like your turntable. I wouldn't mind having a nice belt-driven table, but I've had my Technics 1200 for a long time now, so it sort has become something special. It's a bit too heavy duty for home use, but it plays records and that is all that matters. I also think the 1200's look badass. I've never seen a wood turntable like yours. I really like that.

Way back when ...... I was a mobile jock, I had a pair of 1500's (not many people remember those) but I always had a belt drive for my home listening. The Dual turntable in my rig was purchased in 1987 and it's treated me well ever since

Are you sure you don't have room for the audio rack ?

I have two 1200's, but other one (and mixer) is put away. I did a little bit of the jockey thing.

I could manage to fit the audio rack in, but I'd either lose the subwoofer, or have to come up with some creative way to place it. The sub is close to the entry way stairs. I think I would need an audio rack that would sit over the sub.

I guess I need to see more pictures of the room to get a better idea of what you're working with

I just moved into my townhome a couple weeks ago, so I am still get things situated. Townhomes aren't probably ideal for home theater, but I am actually surprised how well the place is sound-proofed. I can actually "turn up" the receiver and barely here it from the deck, right outside my living room.

A friend and myself ran all those cables before I got in. I'll eventually update the pics. Next thing we are going to do is hang surround speakers. Going to try to use wire or something to make them appear like they are floating.

That's a great idea . Make sure you get the angles and height right though.......

Did you check out the way I mounted my speakers in my Office Theater ?
