I think this makes the most sense. Toshiba gets to save "some" face by pulling the plug themselves, instead of waiting for Paramount and Uni to go Blu.

It won't be long now, I am sure.

Ken Graffeo had just seen 300 and was impressed by the way Spartans fought a lost battle. In their case, they had backup armies whereas Toshiba has got shit.
