Reading t he article, there is a lot of credence to the story. I am sure that retailers are aware of Toshiba's intentions and that is why we are seen all of the pro Blu-ray announcements. The Hollywood Reporter is a CREDIBLE website.

I hope this is true. Would be about time Toshiba dropped HD DVD and went Blu-ray.

Software sales have declined as well. The latest Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales data show the top-selling Blu-ray Disc title for the week, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's "Across the Universe," sold more than three times as many copies the week ending Feb. 10 as the top HD DVD seller, Universal Studios Home Entertainment's "Elizabeth: The Golden Age." Blu-ray Disc titles also accounted for 81% of all high-def disc sales for the week, with HD DVD at just 19%.

So, is Adam just throwing it by 1 percent just to make it not so obvious?

Good Job, it is not easy to nail it! Anyways...it looks like the Nielsen comparision between Blu-ray and HD DVD are a thing of the past.

I think it would be hilarious if Toshiba went Blu-ray before Universal and Paramount did.

Okay, it's a rumour, but it sounds like it's pretty credible. It really is just a matter of time, our insiders have already said all we need is patience.

It'd be nice if this finally happened... I'd almost be sad to have no FUD to read and laugh at... although I'm actually fairly sure that there will still be HD-DVD FUD even after Toshiba pulls the plug.
