Default True Blu-ray experience

Hi

I wanted to know can anyone here reccommend a good surround sound at a reasonable budget? I have seen a few but i am not sure they are right because they do not decode the Dolby Tru HD and all that. And i am not sure what is good and what isnt.

Can someone help?
I want to get the most out of my Bluray (through PS3)

It's always easier for us to help when we know what budget we can work with.

Unfortunately that won't get you near what bluray is capable of.For that you could start with a pair of fronts and add to it as you go.

I may get shot here for recommending this but here goes...

Most of the sound you experience is Center and Right/Left. One way to manage the budget is to get a quality receiver and then work on the front speakers before worrying about surrounds.

I'd recommend you wait and save up some more quid before diving in to the audio. It's very costly to replace a mistake in a receiver or speakers. Buying quality audio will last you years.

Edit: Oh cool! musicman1999 said something like me!

Agreed. Buy quality in all areas and take your time - patience. You will only end up double dipping an everything eventually anyway otherwise.

If I were just starting out... in this order.

1. Onkyo 805 receiver.
2. Two front speakers.
3. Center Channel.
4. Surround Speakers.
5. Sub Woofer.

That depends on the speaker connector this HTiB has. If it has just wires, then maybe you can. If it doesn't, you're out of luck. Best check in stores that have 'em.

However, even if you buy a good receiver later, it won't make a difference in the sound quality because you're still using the same speakers.
