Default Michael Clayton

Let me tell you a little story, we own both "Blu-ray" and "HDDVD" players. Friday i went to Best Buy to use the exchange plan i bought for the HD player and get another one, b/c it was sticking in the middle of the movies sometimes and we would have to unplug it to restart it. I brought it in and Best Buy said all they could do was send it off to get fixed which would be 4-6 week process. I was pissed and said I'll just take it back home. We went back up there today to get a few new Blu-Rays and told my wife Tuesday we would have to come get Michael Clayton when it came out. So while I was looking today trying to find something to use my 20 dollars of reward zone points on i look on the bottom shelf in the "m" sections and what do i see Michael Clayton on "Blu" we took it up front to pay for it, it rang up 34.99 and we showed them the ad and it said 29.99 they said ok and i gave them the reward zone point and ended up paying 10 dollars for it, after we got our receipt my wife says "oh by the way, Michael Clayton doesn't come out till Tuesday" everyone at the front desk dropped a load and said how many more are back there we said a lot and walked out as they all were running back to get them off the shelf, I would have generally told them before hand but after the HDDVD player incident i was pissed. I talked to my friend who was over that department and home entertainment department for Best Buy for years, and he laughed and said well they just got them a 250,000 dollar fine for releasing that early, and he said he thought that was per day early. They probably should have just fixed our player.

Nice to see that somebody was able to find another "early" release. I was concerned about retailers not following Warner's 21 day delay for HD DVD, but at this point it really dosen't matter.

No i havent, but did just finish watching it, it was pretty good. It was a diffrent kind of movie it just kept building and building and then it ended. I mean it wrapped everything up but feeling of the movie never seemed to come down like after a climax.

Dude, why would you tell them it was out early? Instead you should have kept quiet, went home, logged on to blu-ray.com and told us where it was available. Share the love brother! Next time, right?

Dude...just take a look at RottenTomatoes.com it got a 90%..thats high on that site.

I think I'll rent most WB releases until we get Blu-ray specific high bitrate encodes. This will be one I rent though.
